ID Manager Workflow

There are several workflows that users can adopt based on their specific needs. Use and role of ID manager is slightly different between different workflows. Following is the workflow to use when importing equipment previously placed in an OpenPlant model and saved to an i-model format.

When equipment is imported into Bentley Raceway and Cable Management, it is not duplicated, but only electrical connections (junction boxes) and equipment IDs will be placed at insertion points of all OpenPlant equipment that contains electrical connections.
Note: The schema OpenPlant_Supplemental_Mapping_BRCM.01.07.ecschema.xml is available in the folder: C:\Program Files\Bentley\Bentley Raceway and Cable Management CONNECT Edition\BRCM\ECSchemas and is used to define which OpenPlant equipment should be exported to Bentley Raceway and Cable Management. This schema can be changed as needed.
